PROCESS
Below I've included a short snippet about each stage of my typical process... though every project does vary to some degree. Ultimately, the scope, goals, and affected users define the direction my process takes me. I do however typically loop around the following 4 stages.
Develop a clear understanding of the goals, the brand, and the intended users. Define key questions that need to be answered.
The life blood of the UX process. Collect data and break it down. Challenge all assumptions. What is discovered and unearthed during this stage lays the foundation for the
entire project.
Design isn’t a linear process; it’s an iterative process. I gather ideas, sketch, draft, and discuss... Then to create an unmatched experience, I often resketch, redraft, and discuss again.
Test. Assess. Rinse & Repeat. Evaluate the product in terms of the user's flow and experience, then identify areas where improvement is needed. Return to or repeat whichever stage is necessary based on findings.
